South County Museum portrays the state's rich coastal legacy through the lens of agricultural and rural village life. It displays and interprets an array of traditional artifacts ranging from a print shop's 19th-century book press to Victorian kitchen implements including a wine press. The complex also features a working outdoor blacksmith, housed in a historic barn, and a live farm animals area. The museum is located in northern Narragansett, near Pettaquamscutt Cove.
